At first glance, Maya looks like a healthy and regular Siberian Husky. But while the pooch seems just like any other Siberian Husky, a closer look would tell you that the pooch is a little bit unique. Maya is born with a congenital disability, which left her with no paws. The dog likewise has developmental issues in her hips.
While Maya may be a special pooch, the dog still brimmed with confidence and love. The dog got another chance at life when someone spotted the dog and immediately fell in love with Maya. According to Kit, he is looking for a new pooch to add to her new home in Thailand. Luckily, she saw an animal shelter’s Facebook pooch, which announced Maya’s availability for adoption.
When Kit read the caption of the photo, she knew that Maya needed her. Although the dog has special needs, Kit did not hesitate to apply for the dog’s adoption. She said that she does not look at the dog’s disability, but the dog’s hearts. At first look, Kit knew that Maya would be a great pooch under her care.
So, Kit went to the animal shelter and inquired about the dog’s availability for adoption. When she got a word that the dog is still available, Kit immediately submitted the needed documents. There were several background checks that the animal shelter did to make sure that Maya would be in a safe environment. Kit passed all the tests and was soon given the dog’s custody.
During their first meeting, Maya was a little bit shy to get near Kit. It was Kit who made the first move and pet the dog. From there, Maya knew that she is in safe hands. The dog then played with Kit before they went to their new home. Kit said she would do everything to make Maya’s life happy and comfortable.
