For many of us, shopping at a big store could be more than exciting (especially when you have the money!). With so many things to check out, it is easy to get overwhelmed and forget your grocery list, and you end up getting more things than you intended to buy.
But humans are not the only ones excited about going to big groceries and malls. One happy dog named Zira enjoyed shopping as much as her human did. This cute Corgi just went to Target, and she couldn’t contain her excitement.
Zira at Target
Jesse, Zira’s owner, was surprised to see how excited and delighted her dog was while going through the aisles of Target in a shopping cart. She said that Zira reminded her so much of Rose from Titanic with the way Zira leaned on the front of the shopping cart, looking out into the surroundings of Target for the first time. She said they could tell Zira loved it so much.
The California-based dog owner posted pictures of Zira’s shining smile on Twitter. The post immediately went viral, and it received more than 145,000 retweets and over 550,000 likes. There were also lots of replies from fellow dog lovers; some of them even shared pictures of their pets enjoying shopping.
However, some responses were not that positive. Target claimed that their store only allowed service animals. With that, Jesse posted an apology on Instagram.
But don’t fret! Since then, Zira had more of her shopping fix at dog-friendly stores, such as Home Depot and PetSmart.
About taking your dogs to the mall
Before you take your dog with you to a mall or a grocery, it is important that you check if your destination actually allows pets. It is also a must that you know your dog’s personality and temperament. If it is aggressive and stubborn, you may want to think twice about bringing them. Otherwise, you may want to spend some time training them to make them mall-ready.
