Food is life. Aside from the nourishment it brings to our bodies; it provides us with the comfort that nothing else can give us in this world.
As such, it’s not an unusual sight to see a cute little dog begging its fur parent to give it a delightful piece of food. And, it seems this pooch knows how to ask as it performs a specific action to alert its fur parent.
Mom, I need a favor to ask.
In this cute video footage, a curly-furred pooch named Sonny sits on their carpeted living room floor. However, it seems Sonny isn’t merely taking a break as he suddenly stands on his hind legs.
Before his fur mom could decipher the pooch’s actions, Sonny suddenly repeatedly waves his paws in the air, as if he’s trying to catch Mom’s attention. The pooch didn’t stop until he got his fur parent’s full attention.
But, it seems this little pooch truly knows the trick in asking for a favor as it pairs the waving movements with growls. Sonny even does these movements while looking at a far corner of the room.
Please, spare me some food.
Seeing the pooch’s actions, Mom shifts the camera’s focus towards the direction that Sonny’s looking. As soon as she did this, one can finally see what the poor pooch wants from Mom – a delectable meal.
Finally getting the pooch’s message, Mom then refocuses the camera on the dog to catch its reaction. However, it seems Sonny’s previous brazenness faded away as he scratches his face with his paws instead as if he’s ashamed of what he just did earlier.
