When you work at home, you will realize that there are many perks that you can enjoy. You could go straight to work with your pajamas on. You could munch on some snacks while you listen to the meeting (thanks to the mute button of your video chat app), and you could even take a nap.
However, it could be quite lonely at times. The absence of your officemates might mean that you had no one to chat or go on coffee breaks with. Things, though, would be much different when you had a furry colleague.
Mike Devis was one lucky guy, as he had Stella, his work-at-home companion. And because Stella had been a trusty colleague for Mike, the Asbury Park Press, a New Jersey newspaper where Mike worked, had a little surprise for her.
The employee of the month
Mike proudly shared what his company did for Stella. The Asbury Park Press had named Stella as Employee of the Month. And it was not the first time the dog had won such an award. It was the third time in a row.
Mike took to Twitter the great news. She was even pictured alongside her awards. And Stella couldn’t be happier.
Everyone becomes big fans of Stella
Since the announcement of Stella’s awards, people couldn’t keep calm, which was clear from the reactions and comments on the post. While others are commenting on Stella’s outstanding achievements, some were much focused on the dog’s adorableness.
One said that Stella was a good-looking dog. Another simply congratulated her. Appreciating the pup’s incredible feat, an employee from the same company where Mike worked asked where Stella’s Pulitzer was. Mike replied, saying that he gave it to her, but Stella tore it apart so the pup could get at the squeaker.
Another user simply couldn’t resist it. They just wrote that Stella was stellar.
