Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, socialization has become complicated and challenging. Thankfully, technology has made things much easier for everyone to get in touch with everyone. Video chats and instant messaging apps have been helpful for people who are cooped in their homes.
Some people are coming up with more ways to make online conversations and interactions creative. Cody Alan, a CMT radio host, has found a means for his pets to socialize during the pandemic. Recently, he launched a series of virtual playdates called Teddy Time. This show will air twice a week on his Facebook and Instagram pages.
A partnership with country stars
Alan’s new project at home is named after his dog Teddy, a seven-month-old Golden Retriever pup. This will also include some of the most popular country stars today. In his series, country music artists will appear together with their pets.
In one of the show’s first episodes, Alan and Teddy invited RaeLynn and her dogs, Dolly and Cash (who are obviously named after Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton). At the start of the show, Alan explained that they were bringing the celebs and their dogs to the audience.
In the said episode, RaeLynn talked a lot about his dog, Cash. She said that Cash was the man in black, probably referencing the dog’s all-black fur. She shared that her German shepherd was just only one and a half years old.
In the said virtual meet-up, RaeLynn and Alan both held up their dogs so that they could see one another. They even scheduled a real-life playdate for the dogs after the pandemic.
A star-studded meet-up
Alan also had other stars in his show. He invited Brantley Gilbert and Bo, his dog. Brandon Lancaster, Mitchell Tenpenny, Nikko Moon, Hunter Hayes, Mark Wystrach, and Rachel Wammack are slated to appear on Teddy Time.
