Dog parents want their pets to be special. They want their canine companions to stand out among other dogs. To achieve that, they try to teach these dogs all kinds of tricks and skills.
A basic dog parent will try to teach their dog basic tricks. These tricks include rolling over, giving high-fives, and playing dead, among others. These are enough to impress strangers on the streets.
Meanwhile, a more competitive and ambitious dog parent will try to teach their dog something more unique and advanced. That could be dancing, for instance. Or something way cooler, like surfing.
The dog parent in our featured video lets his dog tag along on a surfing adventure. He straps on a GoPro to the dog’s back to capture his pet’s first time to surf. The result is exciting footage, which you can see below.
The video begins with the dog Max running through a parking lot. Soon it is revealed that he’s on his way to the beach. The dog sprints toward a group of surf students being thought by a surfing instructor.
Max finds his dad among the surfing students. We can tell how excited his dad is to be joined by his beloved doggo. The two of them go into the water after completing the surfing lesson.
We cannot say that Max and his dad are the most graceful surfers out there. If we did, we would be lying. Still, we can’t deny the fact that two of them look adorable in their attempts to ride ocean waves.
Despite being wet and cold, Max goes through the whole experience with joy and excitement. He’s a real trooper. We can tell how proud his daddy is of him.
Yes, Max won’t win a surfing medal anytime soon. But he’s a brave dog nonetheless.
