Among the industries that have been hit the hardest by the COVID19 pandemic are airlines. So, many of its employees feel so much uncertainty. That includes flight attendants like Jenn Yoo.
According to Jenn, things at work are changing not by the day, but instead by the hour. Jenn is only thankful that until now, she still has a job. During trying times like this, there is one thing that never fails to brighten Jenn’s day. That is whenever they have a very special passenger that boards the plane. Jenn said that whenever she sees dogs on her flights, her day automatically gets better.

Now that social distancing is in effect, the airline that Jenn is working for has altered its protocols for the protection of its employees and passengers. Jenn is thankful that these guidelines are in place. However, she can’t help but miss the old camaraderie.
Jenn said that it breaks her heart to see the near-empty flights. Before, people would socialize, but now, they all just keep to themselves. Jenn noted how much she misses pouring passengers’ glasses with soda and ice.

Because she couldn’t chat with her fellow crew members and serve their guests, it delighted Jenn to see and spend some quality time with a dog who behaved so well on her seat. Jenn said that only six people were on board. So, all her time and attention were focused on the good girl. Whenever Jenn walked down the aisle, the adorable dog would turn her head and stare at her.
Jenn recalled how at one point, the pup ducked her head behind her seat. Then, she popped back out. This made Jenn do the same with the dog. Before realizing it, Jenn was already locked in a game of hide-and-seek with the four-legged passenger. The sweet pooch was Jenn’s silver lining.
Since then, Jenn started documenting her adorable encounters in the air with their furry fliers. Jenn said that there are no human passengers, so she has so much time to spend with dogs. Even if Jenn is on the ground, she keeps a special place in her heart for every pup that she meets.
